Poem I won award for from Poetry.com
Sweet baby girl
Sweeter than a flower, special as could be
A little girl softly asleep
Kneeling in prayer, singing a tune
Beautiful girl, she’s an angel
Awaking in heaven, near Garden of Eden
Looking in the face of the father
She gives a smile, sits upon his knee
He rocks her gently to sleep, kissing her on the cheek
Sweeter than a flower, special as could be
Little girl happily awakes
New beautiful home
She is safe, no need to worry
Close your eyes right now, she is glowing
Your innocent young one, baby girl
Sweeter than a flower, special as could be
Baby girl chuckles I love you mommy
Sweeter than a flower, special as could be
A little girl softly,
rests in peace………
Dedicated to Cindy M.
who lost her one year old baby girl
